isobjIsobj is a free collection of online tools — calculators, converters, generators and utilities for the small problems that come up during a day’s work. No accounts, no downloads, no paywall.
Why it exists
Most of the tools here already exist somewhere on the internet. What is harder to find is one that loads quickly, gives you the answer without three sign-up prompts and a newsletter pitch, and does not ask who you are first.
That is the whole idea: a single, consistent place where a unit conversion, a percentage, a word count or a QR code takes a few seconds — and works the same way every time.
Isobj grew out of a simple frustration: the everyday tool you need — a quick conversion, a percentage, a word count — is usually buried on a page heavy with sign-up prompts and unnecessary tracking. We wanted a place where those tools are easy to reach and straightforward to use.
Who is behind it
Isobj is built and maintained by Brand Zappy LLC, a software company based in Sheridan, Wyoming. Brand Zappy builds practical web software — small, focused tools that do one job well and respect the people who use them.

How the tools are built
Most tools run entirely in your browser. When you change an input, the result is usually calculated on your own device, which is why results appear as you type. A tool that needs a server-side service or data source will say so on its own page.
That design has a privacy consequence we think is worth stating plainly: for most tools, what you type never reaches us at all. Text you paste into the word counter stays on your machine. Passwords from the password generator are created in your browser and are never transmitted. Where a tool works on a file, the file is processed locally wherever technically possible.
The exceptions are documented in our privacy policy rather than glossed over — some tools put their inputs into the page address so a result can be bookmarked or shared, and that page address appears in our server logs like any other.
Accuracy
Each tool is written against a published formula or standard, and checked against worked examples before it goes live. We recheck when someone reports a discrepancy, and corrections take priority over new features.
Even so, tools are software and software has mistakes in it — and formulas vary between countries, institutions and standards bodies more often than people expect. Anything that matters should be verified with a qualified professional and an authoritative source. The terms of use set this out in full; in particular, nothing here is financial or medical advice.
If you find a tool giving a wrong answer, please tell us. A short note with the numbers you entered and the result you expected is genuinely useful, and we would rather hear about it than not.
How it is paid for
Isobj is free to use and is funded by advertising. We do not sell visitor data, and Isobj does not run its own audience analytics or build visitor profiles. Google and its advertising partners may process information to serve and measure ads. What advertising means for your data in practice is set out in the privacy policy.
