The short version
Isobj is a collection of free online tools. There are no visitor accounts and nothing to sign up for. We do not use cookies to operate visitor accounts or run our own audience analytics, and Isobj does not build visitor profiles itself. Most tools do their work entirely inside your browser, which means what you type into them is never sent to us at all.
We use Google AdSense to fund the site. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage and device or usage information to serve and measure ads, subject to your choices and consent where required.
The longer version below explains the exceptions honestly, because there are a few.
Who we are
This site is operated by Brand Zappy LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described below, contact info@brandzappy.com.
What we do not collect
- We do not operate user accounts, and never ask you to register.
- We do not set first-party cookies for visitor accounts or our own audience analytics.
- Our tools do not use local or session storage to build a profile of you. Google’s consent and advertising services may use browser storage as described below.
- We do not use a separate audience analytics service such as Google Analytics. AdSense does measure ad delivery and performance.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers.
What is collected, and why
1. Server logs
Our web server records standard technical information for every request: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, the referring page if any, and your browser’s user-agent string. This is ordinary web-server behaviour and we use it only to keep the site running securely and to diagnose faults. Logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted.
2. Tool inputs that appear in the page address
This one deserves a plain explanation. Some tools put the values you enter into the page’s web address, so that a result can be bookmarked or shared as a link. Because those values are part of the address, they appear in our server logs alongside the request.
This applies to calculators and converters whose inputs or results remain visible in the page address after you use them. Nothing is stored against a visitor account or deliberately linked to an identity, but the address can be recorded in server logs and may be included in a browser history, bookmark, shared link or referring-page record. Avoid entering sensitive personal details in a tool whose values appear in the address.
Tools that handle text or secrets deliberately do not do this. The word counter never puts your text in the address, and the password generator never puts a generated password there. Passwords are produced in your browser and are never transmitted to us.
3. Files you process
Where a tool processes a file — for example a PDF or an image — that processing happens inside your browser wherever technically possible, and the file is not uploaded to us. If a specific tool ever needs to send a file to a server to work, that tool will say so clearly on its own page before you use it.
4. Fonts
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Doing so causes your browser to make a request to Google’s servers, which necessarily reveals your IP address and user-agent to Google. We do not control what Google does with that information; see Google’s privacy policy.
5. Advertising
Isobj is free to use and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. When an ad or consent message loads, Google and its advertising partners may receive information such as your IP address, the page you are viewing, referring page, browser and device information, cookie or device identifiers, consent choices and interactions with ads. They use this information to deliver ads, measure performance, limit repeated ads, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar browser storage to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve personalised ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. Depending on your location and choices, Google may instead serve non-personalised or limited ads.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by Google at Google Ad Settings. You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu. More detail on how Google handles data on sites that use its services is at Google’s partner sites policy.
Where required, including for visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland, Google’s certified consent platform asks for the choices needed before personalised advertising is used. Its privacy controls allow you to change or withdraw those choices. You can also manage Google’s advertising personalisation at Google Ad Settings using the link above. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before it was withdrawn.
Cookies
Isobj does not set cookies to operate visitor accounts or run its own audience analytics. Google and its advertising partners may set cookies or use similar browser storage to remember privacy choices, deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and, when permitted, personalise advertising. The particular cookies used depend on your location, browser, consent choices and Google configuration.
You can control cookies through the consent message where it is shown, through Google Ad Settings, and through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting cookies may cause the consent message to appear again and may affect ad personalisation, but the site’s tools do not require personalised advertising cookies to operate. If you log in to the site as an administrator, WordPress sets cookies necessary for that session; this does not apply to ordinary visitors.
Who your information is shared with
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information is handled by the service providers that make the site work: our hosting provider, which processes server logs on our behalf; and Google and its authorised advertising partners, for the fonts, consent management and advertising described above. These providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
In practice Isobj itself holds very little: with no visitor accounts and no separate audience analytics, server logs are usually the only record, and they are not indexed by name. To make a request, email info@brandzappy.com — it helps if you can tell us the approximate date and time of your visit and the IP address you used, since otherwise we may have no way to locate the record. Advertising and consent information controlled by Google or another advertising partner should also be managed through that provider’s privacy controls.
Our lawful basis for processing server logs is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site. Where advertising storage or personalised ads require consent, the basis is your consent. Other limited advertising processing may be necessary to prevent fraud, provide security or meet legal obligations, depending on the applicable law.
If you are in California
We do not sell personal information as that term is defined by California law. Personalised advertising may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out using the privacy controls presented with the site or Google Ad Settings linked above. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children under 16.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
International visitors
The site is hosted in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information is processed there and by the third parties named above, which may be outside your own country.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data — for example by adding a tool that uploads files to a server, adding a separate analytics service, or changing our advertising providers — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
